Help Us Support Interfaith Ministries
Interfaith Ministries, through the support of churches in the Gulf Breeze Area, operates both a thrift store and the Good Samaritan Clinic. Both the store and the clinic rely solely on volunteers and continue to provide services to meet the basic needs of local families in need. The Good Samaritan Clinic will be used as an "emergency clinic" during the next disaster, and needs a HAM radio operator to help during and after a disaster. This radio communication will connect the clinic to a network of clinics and the Emergency Operations Center for disaster support. If you know of a HAM radio operator who could help, please contact Shirley or Fred Cornett at Interfaith Ministries at 934-8385.
Interfaith Ministries also needs the volunteer services of an auditor to audit their books. An audit would provide the basis for the organization to apply for grants and other assistance.
Volunteers are always welcome to help with other various needs including working in the Thrift Store. All volunteers will be invited to a dinner in early November at First Baptist Church.
Another way to support Interfaith Ministries is to shop at the Thrift Store, located at 4339 Gulf Breeze Parkway and open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
For more information or to volunteer, please call John or Mary Scott, parish representatives, at 939-5151.
